Suryanamaskaraar is a 12 steps Asana practice with the blend of Asanas and Pranayama (syncing the breath with asanas) Suryanamaskaara is practised after loosening exercise and before the practice of other asanas.
The 12 steps are repeated 13 times, with each round starting with the suryanamaskaara Prayer followed by Bija Mantra sequence.
12 Names of surya along with Bija mantra has its powerful effect on the mind and body it can be chanted loudly or chanted in the mind.
The suryanamaskaara prayer is taken from Ishavasya upanishad.

Hrim will stimulate throat, palate, heart, respiratory and digestive organs.

Hroum will improve the functioning of rectum and anus .
Hrah will tone chest and throat.
